Participants walk through the darkness with head torches, experience the fells coming to life around them, and celebrate together at first light on Helvellyn's summit plateau.
You'll meet in the early hours at Swirls Car Park, Thirlmere, and begin a guided ascent on a clear mountain path (no scrambling required). The climb is sustained and physically demanding, but non-technical — ideal for supporters looking for a meaningful mountain challenge.
As dawn approaches, views open over Thirlmere and the surrounding fells. At the top, you'll celebrate together, capture photos, and enjoy the moment before starting your descent as a team.
